“Keep Your Family Safe from Fire” is the theme for Fire Prevention
week this year.
The Bedford Park Fire Department will be doing fire safety
demonstrations at Walker School and the Bedford Park Districts’
Preschool throughout the whole week. The Fire Department will be

giving out a gift to each household of the Village. The Bedford Park Fire Department is also very active with the Commercial and
Industrial counterparts in the Village of Bedford Park. The Bedford Park Fire Department attends various Safety Awareness Days
at International Paper, The Belt Railroad, Costco and other businesses.
The Bedford Park Fire Department also has personnel that are trained to teach Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to various
businesses.
